New Carpet August 22, 2009

This weekend I had the final flooring in my house replaced with new carpet. The hallway with two closets, master bedroom and closet and spare bedroom and closet. It took 7 hours of installation but I am super excited and still don't want to walk on it.

This year I was in town for my friend Nicole, daughter's birthday. She is a bit of a tom boy and loved her fishing pole and tackle box along with her Handy Manny tool set (already wearing). She also loved her birthday cupcake. I also got to hold the newest edition to the family Kylie.

Win for KC Women Triathlon August 1, 2009

I went with my coworker Leslie to the Win for KC Women Triathlon to cheer on the participants (of course). My friend Sara also participated.

Montana July 24-27, 2009

I traveled to Montana for a quick weekend trip for my friend Elizabeth's wedding reception. It took 15 hours to drive there on Friday. We had dinner with both sides of the family and prepared for the reception on Saturday. Recovered on Sunday and drove 16 hours back on Monday. It was quick but I had a blast. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Roberts! I even managed to take a few pictures out the window on my way back of the sunrise.
